Anarchy (1999, SoftySoft) was an attempt to create a fully 3D version of Chaos for Windows and MS-DOS. Anarchy is open-source. Anarchy was mentioned in Retro Gamer magazine's Julian Gollop retrospective, in a round-up of Chaos remakes.[1]
The development of Anarchy ended in 1999 when Softysoft disbanded, as the coders went to seperate universities. However, the current version of the game remains playable.
